This policy explains what information Gataca Corporation ("Gataca") collects through gataca.com and our tool subdomains, and how we use it.

Information you give us

When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, organization, and message. Contact form messages are stored securely in our database so none are lost, along with an anonymized (hashed) version of your IP address used only to prevent spam. We use this information only to respond to you and to discuss potential work. We don't sell or rent it.

Our tools

Our browser tools (SeqBench, PrimerBench, CutBench, AlignBench, CodonBench, and VariantBench) process everything on your device. Sequences and files you use with them are not sent to our servers or stored by us.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and maintenance. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address.

Project data

Data shared with us for a project is governed by the agreement for that project, including how it is stored, who can access it, and when it is returned or deleted.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@gataca.com.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
